    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently only tomcat6 and jdk6 are supported for the war deployment. There are issues with running on tomcat7 so it's not an option outside of supported platform.

      Both these are stable and production supported platforms. Will JIRA support them or wait for tomcat8 and jdk8 which are both in active development?
