Entering in @ and [ in a comment can lead to text between them being deleted

    Description

      1. Make sure you have user admin.
      2. Enter "Initial: @a" in a comment field. Escape out of the user select.
      3. On a new line enter "Random Text"
      4. On a new line enter [
      5. (BUG) For some reason the user "admin" is suggested (reported in JRA-27636)
      6. (BUG) Select "admin". The text between the [ and @a is deleted.

      This is shown in delete_mentions2.webm.
