Running the JIRA Linux .bin installer the first time creates the "jira" user.

Subsequent installs using the .bin installer then creates the user again with an integer increment appended to the end of the user name. Ie: installing again will create jira1, jira2, jira3, etc... users.

Can this be fixed so that either one can uninstall JIRA and it removes the user for the customer userdel -r jira or always use the user "jira" and don't append/increment the username?

      Workaround

Please follow the steps in Change the User that Executes JIRA in Linux.
