      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      When AD is selected the "Enable Incremental Synchronisation" option appears in "Advanced Settings". We don't document this option.

      We need to document this option. We also need to mention that this option only works when the user configured for the synchronisation has:

      1. Read access to the uSNChanged attribute on all the users and groups in the directory that need to be synchronised.
      2. Read access to the objects and attributes in the Deleted Objects container (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892806).

      If either of these is not true you may end up with added (deleted) AD users not being added (deleted) in JIRA. See http://confluence.atlassian.com/x/YAfuDw.
