When you add a custom column to the issue navigator, if there is a space in your data, then the column breaks across multiple lines.
For example, we have a column to track the name of the person that submitted an issue for use when the user creating the issue is not the user that requested the change. The first and last names are displayed on seperate lines in the issue navigator.
However, I can imagine another instance when you would want the columns to expand to multiple lines, so I'm not sure how this could be handled.

I have a case with a custom field, in that i have multiple file paths stored in a custom field.
Now when i'm in the issue navigator, i WANT those lines to wrap, but only when there's a carriage return in that field.. ie so get a column which each file path on a seperate line – currenly in 2.5.1 pro standalone am getting a list of up to 50 files in a non-wrapping field!!
My suggestion would be for custom free text fields to display the field exactly as entered (ie use the formatting it was entered with) - currently does this in view issue, just not in the issue navigator [bug in 2.5.1?]
