In case of slow connection multiple clicks in [edit] button are possible in issue display view. Each clicks generates a new semi-transparent area over entire screen causing the background to be darker and passive (not clickable). However, after confirming or cancelling the edit form pop-up, only the last created area is removed while the rest remains and cause the page to be dark and not clikable.
