When escaping "[" in jql search for the summary field, query does not return correct results

      When executing this JQL search:

      summary ~ "\\[brackets\\]"

      It fails to parse the query, but does not indicate it to the user and returns no issues.
      Furthermore it should match issues which have [brackets] in their summary.
