General Configuration allows invalid URL patterns for Base URL

    • 4.03

      In General Configuration enter Base URL such as:

      1. where a space char exists in the host name - http:// okocim:8080
      2. or a space char is placed at the end of URL - http://okocim:8080<space>

      JIRA 4.4 RC doesn't seem to experience problem mentioned in point no. 2.

      In both cases JIRA is happy to accept it. However, it brakes other functionalities relaying on a valid Base URL such as 'Reset my password notifications.
