      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It might be nice to remove version information from the REST URL's (a la http://barelyenough.org/blog/2008/05/versioning-rest-web-services ). I imagine it's way too late to request something like this, but I'm throwing it out there just in case...
