Performance issues in JIRA 4.4 RC1 in Firefox 3.6 with large pages

When viewing a large administration page, such as viewing list of 1000 projects in ViewProjects.jspa or 1000 custom fields in ViewCustomFields.jspa, Firefox 3.6 hangs (and may crash) while loading the Javascript and CSS.

This is reproduce-able in Firefox 3.5 and 3.6. In Firefox 4 and 5 it works with a blink of an eye.

Dieter Greiner, our JSP-80027 customer, has managed to get around this by modifying the jspa files by changing this

to this

<table id="custom-fields">

I have created this as critical as a customer with such large data cannot use Firefox 3.5 and 3.6 to administer JIRA with this performance issue, while these versions of Firefox are in the supported list of browsers for JIRA 4.4
