When using the Jira RPC SOAP Plugin for Jira 4.2.3 and trying to add a comment. The author of the comment can only be set to the user who is authenticated to the SOAP service.

      When I create an issue with webservices via the RPC-SOAP-Plugin in Jira I'm not able to set the author of a comment.

      First I create the issue.
      Then I add the comment with a specific author. However, the author set in the RemoteComment object that I'm creating the Comment from doesn't set the author in the Issue. The author is always set to who is authenticated for the soap service.

      Currently I'm trying to copy issues from an old Jira system to this new Jira 4.2.3 System as part of our upgrade process. Without this feature enabled it is blocking us from upgrading.
