    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

We have Jira set up with a large number of projects with a small number of issues. Because of this, we have a lot of information in the project description that we frequently need to access. It doesn't appear that the quick search includes general product information in its searches, which greatly slows down the process of finding what we need. Essentially the only workaround I've found is to display the full project list and use the browser's search to find the name I want.

For example, if we have a contact name and phone number in the project description and we search for the contact name, no results are found. It appears it partially searches the project key - if I have a project with a key of MYNAME that has at least one issue, a search for "MYNAME" will turn up the issues, while a search for "NAME" won't.

I would like the quick search to include the general project information.

      Thank you.
