In Google Chrome, when clicking past the last character of a line, the caret is incorrectly placed at the start of the line.

This is very annoying as the only ways to move the caret at the end of a line is by precision clicking not more than one pixel after the last character, by moving the caret with the arrow keys or using the END key.

Please note that this works as expected in Firefox 4.0 and possibly other versions as well. I have not tested IE.
