Previously (version 2.3) if you were not logged in, and you clicked on the a link ponting to a certain issue (e.g. in the notification email) in your browser you were prompted to login.

From 2.4.1 one gets an error message stating that the issue does not exist:

The issue key or ID that you entered does not exist in the system, or you do not have permission to view it.
Please check the key or ID you entered.
      View Issue #:
[View] (issue keys usually look like FOO-52)

The actual problem is that the user is not logged in and the text of the error message is missleading somewhat. After logging in the issue is accessible normally.

Are you planning to either implement the old method (prompting for login automatically) or present a specific error message (I would prefer the former)

      Thanks:

      Arpad
