Bugzilla Import. PreparedStatements are not closed.

Hi guys,
I know that PreparedStatement will be closed automatically, but may be is better to close every statement and result set whicn may cause increase import speed? Also during import of issues for each issue you create PreparedStatement and used it only _1_time_. I don't think that some benefits will be there. Maybe is better to create PreparedStatement only 1 time and pass as argument or instead of using PreparedStatement use Statement?
