'Shadow users report' on reordering directiories in User Directories

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Since JIRA 4.3 we have introduced new user management framework there is a chance that during reordering user directories 'random' users may loose their ability to perform task in their system. Or, even login to system.

      We should produce a report finding all shadow (duplicated) users across all directories and present them to an administrator who is trying to reorder user directories.

      There are correlated issues in the EMBCWD project for eg.
