Project Configuration Scheme System

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      When creating several projects a day, sometimes it can be a real pain to select all the schemes per project. What I am suggesting is that Atlassian create a Project Configuration Scheme system that you configure all of the following information:
      Issue Type Scheme
      Notification Scheme
      Permission Scheme
      Issue Security Scheme
      Field Configuration Scheme
      Issue Type Screen Scheme
      Workflow Scheme

      And allow you to assign all of those to a project in a single selection of Project Configuration Scheme from the project admin screen. That way you can setup many projects quickly.

            Bump... We have over 600 projects in our Jira instance in 15 categories. This would greatly ease the administrative overhead.

            +1 to this. I have to sometimes set up ten projects in a row. This would save me a lot of messing about.
