    Description

      Hello,

In JIRA 4.1.2, you could have LDAP integrated with JIRA, and have users existing both in LDAP and JIRA, and only in JIRA database. While leaving the "External User Management" option ON, you could change the users' passwords in LDAP, and for the users which existed only in JIRA database, you could use ForgotLoginDetails.jspa page to reset their passwords.

However, this function is now not working on JIRA 4.2.2. If you copy the same environment as above, when trying to reach ForgotLoginDetails.jspa, you get a stacktrace on the screen.

Can this option be enabled again?

      Cheers

      Best Regards
