Hi,

using the filter filter as described in http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Advanced+Searching#AdvancedSearching-Filter will break if you rename the one your filter is based on.
This is ok to me but very unmanageably.

• You never see the FilterId in any mask (only if you are familar with URL-reading which is not possible to tell to some non-technical addicted users)
• Auto-completion in filter advanced mode doesn't complete to the id automatically.
  --> perhaps it might be useful to get a second filterid reference
• The user should be warned before saving a new filter name related filter
• filter results should not even be empty but should "cry" for help if the condition is broken (only in edit mode the error is visible!)
