      As a user, I wish a link that copies the issue key to the clipboard on each issue, so I can copy the issue key in order to use inside my project (when commiting to SVN, for example)

            Hi 117d8727cd6f + 82214c950eee , I've also wanted a way to quickly copy a Jira Issue key to my clipboard by clicking a button.

            I created a Jira Cloud app that allows you to copy a Jira Issue key and title to your clipboard by clicking a button that appears on the issue view. The app also allows you to define a custom template so you can add more Issue data and personalize the copied text (including optionally enabling/disabling an embedded link back to the Issue).

            This particular Issue tracker doesn't let you post screenshots, but you can find the app and screenshots of its behavior here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1225783

            I would vote for this issue, if it was not already closed. In bamboo, we can copy revision numbers and I don't thing anyone here is using it. But in JIRA this would be very useful for us at least for:

            • SCM commit comment in the form of ISSUE-23089 Copy to Clipboard link
            • Preformatted blocks of code - these contain stack traces, scripts etc. Especially, for long text this is difficult (please try it yourself)

            At this time we will not implement this into JIRA.

            You might be able to create your own plugin that does this and our local Atlassian partners will be able to help.
