create issue drop downs inconsistent height on PC and blurry on Mac

Mr Stephen Russell picked this one up on a Mac:

• on EACJ (Confluence Project) some drop downs are blurry

When checking on my PC:

• drop downs were all sharp but displayed at different heights

Are these two oddities related or is it just coincidence?
