JIRA 4.2 hangs on Workflow transitions when Ajax is disabled in IE7/8

      After upgrading JIRA from 4.1.2 to 4.2 we can't do any workflow transitions anymore (where popups open), because our client (IE8) on Windows XP hangs. The problem doesn't exist if using Firefox, Chrome, Safari.

      This can also be reproduced on IE7.
