I am convinced JIRA user and preacher to others to use JIRA for some years.
Now my company is moving all projects from TFS to Git.
I see Git becoming more and more important, also for the industry (even for Microsoft centric software!).

You have great possibilities to maintain your source code even with comfortable hosting and UIs like http://www.github.com and http://www.gitorious.com.

We are not the only ones to move to that great and powerful CVS!

Please implement support for Git. We have tried the Git plugin available at your plugin marketplace. It killed JIRA and we had to contact your support to solve the problem.

A native integration would be even more preferable than a plugin solution. Look at Github and Gitorious and you see the opportunities. You could merge projects, teams, activity streams too, not just the commits and the diffs.

Hope you consider this. JIRA always has been innovative, Git is too. JIRA and Git would make a great couple!
