In earlier versions of JIRA, the parent of an issue was displayed as a separate column (with image) when exporting a view to Excel. In the fix for JRA-7014, the view was changed so that the parent issue key is now prepended to the issue summary.

A customer who wants to organize their Excel data using the parent issue key has to use substring functions and other methods to get the data they need.

It would be more useful if the parent issue were available as a separate column (with no icon).
