With the new issue detail view coming with JIRA 4.1 we have real trouble because every existing custom field of the types
- date picker
- datetime picker
is now displayed on the right column under "Dates"!
Since we are heavily using these kinds of custom fields especially for adding functional information and not for issue processing purposes: E.g. 'starting date' and 'ending date' as descriptive information of the ticket (e.g. the travel) and not as planning information when the issue should be started and finished.
My improvement proposal would be that these custom fields should be adjustable where it should be displayed in the screen
JRA-21013 are currently for us show stoppers to update our and our customer JIRA insances!
