"Are you sure you want to navigate away" popup occurs after cancelling comment

1. Write half a comment (to try out the UI because it's so shiny and new)
2. Press cancel.
3. Press anything else, eg: Assign, Edit
4. The "are you sure you want to navigate away from this page" dialog appears.

I would not expect that dialog to appear when I have explicitly cancelled the comment I am writing.
