      Hi Atlassian,

      It will be a great to automatize an export in available format (XML, RSS, Word, Excel, etc.) according to a custom filter.
      Right now we can schedule an export of a filter to a mail, but can't specify the format.

            JIRA Automation Plugin is really powerful to implement CRON-expression-triggered rules. Just combine its power with the PDF Automation Plugin, and you can generate and email custom PDF exports according to any schedule you may want.

            Reporting from JIRA is not great without this feature. This needs to considered by Atlassian one more time.

            We don't plan on implementing this into JIRA in the foreseeable future.

            You can of course create your own plugin that does this and our local Atlassian partners might be able to help.

            I'll close this in the mean time to keep things tidy on our end.
            If we ever look into your request again I'll be sure to reopen this issue.
