Crucible reference in Jira comment returns "Unable to render content due to system error: null"

When adding a comment with a crucible referance ("CR-IPS-43") in a existing ticket, comment is rendered:
Unable to render content due to system error: null

Problem started yesterday and to the extent of my knowledge nothing has changed on either the Crucible nor on the Jira side.
