the Popular Issues Project Tab only counts the votes directly cast in favour of the issue itself. Votes for Linked issues are not taken into account while a certain degree of dispersion for "duplicates", "relates to", "incorporated by" issues always occurs - besides I don't think it's possible to tweak or move votes across issues without direct database manipulation so it is difficult to "refactor" issues without loosing this information.

It would be beneficial if it was possible to configure this statistic to include (perhaps with a weight) the vote count from linked issues so that, for example the votes for issue A would count in the chart position of incorporating issue B.
