User can add gadget on Dashboard(with already having maximum number of gadgets) thru charts dialog

      Hi everyone,

      The issue has not collected enough votes, watches, comments or support cases during it's lifetime. In this sense overal interest in the reported problem is low.
      Jira team is focusing on bigger and more impactful issues at the moment and we are not likely to look at the current bug soon. Therefore I'm resolving the issue as Timed Out.

      Atlassian will continue to watch issue for the further updates, so please don't hesitate to share your feedback in the issue comments.

      Steps:
      1. Login to JIRA.
      2. On a Dashboard X user has 20 gadgets, maximum allowed in any dashboard. Trying to add gadget thru gadget directory give proper error message.
      3. Now open an already saved filter and click view_charts.
      4. Try to save the chart on dashboard and select the dashboard X.

      Result:
      1. User can save on the dashboard without any issue.
      2. From functionality point of view no issue, no sure if this cause any major problem while user is performing other actions.

      Expected:
      1. User should be allowed to save on the Dashboard X or any dashboard with already having max gadget.OR may be JIRA should be smart to detect that and no show the dashboard in list.
