Trying to configure pie chart gadget with statistics type custom field(of type version picker) giving internal server error

Steps:
1. Restore the data from attached file.
2. Login as veenu/pass. User has a custom field called version picker of type version picker.
3. Add a pie chart gadget on the dashboard and try to configure with statistics type "Version picker"

Result:
1. User get internal server error. There is null pointer exception in logs

Expected:
1. The gadget should work without any error message.
