It would be very helpful to allow the sorting order to be customized in the Two-Dimensional Filter Statistics Portlet. Currently the user only has two choices: "Natural" or "Total". Given that JRA-11563 seems to be a complex fix, maybe it would be simpler to just add an option to the portlet configuration to choose a custom sorting order for list/select/multi-select fields.
