We have a project which have a project key containing Norwegian characters. This was not a problem in Jira 1.4.

This week we upgraded to Jira 2.0.2. Now, when a issue in this project is closed, the following error message is displayed: "The issue key or ID that you entered does not exist in the system. Please check the key or ID you entered."

The issue is correctly closed, so we suspect that a "view issue" redirect is performed, in which the URL containing the issue key is not correctly encoded and decoded.

(We have not tested this in more recent versions of Jira. We attempted to upgrade to 2.2 Professional but had to roll back due to massive performance problems with that version. This problem was discovered after the upgrade.)
