It will be great if we can show the tab selected in IE once user click the shortcut button(before clicking enter)

Steps:
1. Login to JIRA
2. Try to access the menu drop downs using keyboard shortcuts.ex. click Alt+I to access issues tab.

Result:
1. Nothing get selected, till user press enter.
2. Till 3.13.5, clicking the shortcut selected the tab and then following enter take user to the option.
3. Currently in 4.0, its not giving any info to user and from usability point of view it sucks.

Expected:
1. Clicking shortcut should show the current focus.
2. Can we have browser specific tooltips. Currently on windows for both firefox and IE we show click Alt+<hot key> but in reality you need to click extra enter on IE and add <Shift> in FF.
