      Frank,

There is no way to limit issue types across projects at this stage. Can
you file this as a feature request at http://jira.atlassian.com/?

I'll see if we can get this into the 2.2 Enterprise Edition.

      Cheers,
      Scott

      Hi Scott,

      I am running:
      JIRA 2.0.2 (WAR/EAR installation)
      Windows 2000
      SQL server 2000
      Tomcat 4.1.24

We are going to create a separate project for each software product that is developed in-house. In addtion, we would like to run our internal help desk using JIRA.

For the help desk application, I have created a new Project called "IT Services", and a new Issue Type called "ITS Ticket". When I select "IT Services" from the Project dropdown list, is there any way to create an association so that only "ITS Ticket" appears as an Issue Type? In this case, Bug, New Feature, Task, and Improvement would not be valid selections for the "IT Services" project. Conversely, "ITS Ticket" would not be a valid selection for the projects associated with software products that are developed in-house.
