I am trying to create a full featured search provider for JIRA to be used in IE8 and FF3.
If you check the Google search provider for IE8, you will see there is search suggestion address, which provides on-the-fly search suggestions, as you type in the search bar area.

I would like to be able to implement such feature in the search provider for JIRA (see the attached AtlassianJIRA_SearchProvider.html and AtlassianJIRA_SearchProvider.xml) however I am not able to find address that will give result similar to the one provided from google:
