Cascading Drop Down Customized Fields

I would like to request a new feature. Cascading drop downs is a critcal feature for our organization and we plan on waiting to evaluate JIRA until such features are implemented. We track a lot of metrics related to our code development cycle. In particular we like to associate a bug/issue to the specific screen element. To do this we would like to be able to define two customized drop down fields where by the values in the 2nd field are filtered by the value selected in the first field.
