Description
NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
When through misconfiguration, a user is not a member of a group granted the "JIRA Users" global permission (eg. 'jira-users'), but is a member of a group having "JIRA Administrators" permission (eg. 'jira-administrators'), then JIRA behaves inconsistently. It will let the user log in, but subsequent pages like the Profile page or 'manage dashboard' take the user back to the login screen with no indication of what went wrong.
