Currently for a custom date field there are search parameters:
After, Before and In previous.

If we create a custom field called "Due date" or Deadline then a parameter "In next" is necessary to create saved searches to show all reports due in next hour/day/week/month etc. This would be a great help for tracking open issues and generating alert emails with subscribed filters.
