I have 2 requests from one of my client :

• The ability to force all users to have a filter on their favorite filter list

• To allow getIssueFromFilter to use filters that are not on the users favorite filter list. Basically we have a tool that tries to connect to jira to display a users open bugs. It uses getIssueFromFilter to get the list of bugs with a specific filter. The problem is that if the filter is not one of the users favorites then the call will not return any results. I don't know the system really well but there didn't seem to be an obvious way around this issue.
