It's very inconvenient each time to browse all comments to read the history, especially when history is quite long.
Usually I am interested in most recent comment history, in few latest comments only.
Same as it's organized in forums/blogs - most recent record goes first.
To make it backward compatible, new setting can be added - Chronological Order of Comments.
