Setting default values in field configuration

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      There are some issues like JRA-11965 attending the need of the summary field on screens.
      What would help us is to preset the summary field with project specific default values.

      Would it be possible to enhance the field configuration with the functionality to preset system fields with default values?
