When resource_id is entered as:
'DNL1GGW 06 1 8 31 0 1 6742700 0'
Jira changes it to:
'DNL1GGW061831 0 1 6742700 0'

When numbers are entered in the text field with spaces in between, once save the spaces are eliminated.

If you edit the issue and look at the text field the spaces then are there as originally entered.

The customer requires the spaces be there for there business process.
