Remote API Interface doesn't enforce Resolution Setting

      I have a filter to show open issues in 2.9. As I was navigating that list I found some issues that where on that list as UNRESOLVED but after clicking through were marked as Resolved but with no Resolution Status.

      Some investigation revealed that these issues were closed using the Mylyn plugin.

      It's suspected by those involved in investigating that the problem was because the remote API did not enforce the selection of a Resolution Status
