Search for CQDefectID in the quick search

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      I want to add a new feature to jira,which can make users search by CQDefectID in the quick search. However,I find that there seems to be no extention point to this feature and I have to change the source code. What I want to know is whether there is a simple way to implement this feature without changing source code.

            This is a duplicate of JRA-7686 and therefore I will resolve this issue.

            At the moment there is no way to add this functionality without changing JIRA's source code.

            Please vote for JRA-7686 and add yourself as a watcher to it.
