A client has reported that JIRA Standard runs well on glassfish v2 :
"FYI - your docs don't say it (or I couldn't find it) but JIRA standard runs nicely on glassfish v2, in fact we found the setup easier than running the generic WAR on tomcat."

I suggest adding to the documentation if devs/support feels it is appropriate.
