Mark projects Active/Inactive

We have many clients and many short projects. Each client has their own project in jira, and may have several depending on the work involved. These clients come back to us periodically, and we add new issues to a new version in their project.

Many clients go dormant for many months at a time, and we are always adding new clients. As you can imagine, our project list in jira is becoming enormous.

Please provide the functionality to 'deactivate' a project. This should take it out of select lists, etc, and should visibly be similar to deleting a project. When the client comes back, we can simply 'activate' a project to make it active again.

This is becoming a very big issue for us, and we certainly do not want to export data/delete project/reimport data to make this happen.
