Custom titles for colum headers in issue navigator to save horizontal space

      Long names of some fields eat up all horizontal space, while values are short.
      Such are Date of First Response, Remaining Estimate, Fix Version/s, etc.

            Yes, you are correct - short name or wrap option. Short name as for me is more actual, then wrapping. It will give us more horizontal space.
            I like how it's implemented in MS Project (see screenshot) - they provide all the options - short name, header text wrapping, plus content alignment.
            Option to align content is also would be good to have.

            As far as I can tell you would like to be able to define 2 names for a custom field, a regular name and a short name. The short name should be used as a column heading in Issue Navigator. Is this so?

            Another alternative is to allow column headings to wrap. I am not too sure as to why we force nowrap on them at the moment.
