We have a project in Jira which track user requests in. We also have lots of sub projects that are used in the main project. These sub-projects may be used in other projects too.

What we would like to do is track a user issue that they enter by creating sub tasks within the other projects. This would allow us to track issues in each individual project as well as the time for the overall issue (as per JRA-3009).

Is this a simple thing to achieve?
