A support customer is getting OutOfMemoryErrors when accessing the following JIRA admin pages:
- Menus Administration ->Global Settings -> Events
- Issue Settings -> Statuses
The customer is getting this with up to 1 Gig of memory allocated to the JVM.
The customer is getting the error in version 3.6.1. I can reproduce the error on my machine in version 3.6.1 and in version 3.10.
I can reproduce the OutOfMemory error every time for the Events page, when I have 256 MBytes of memory allocated to the JVM. Once I increase to 512 MByes, I do not get the error.
I have not been able to reproduce the error for the Issue Statuses page, however the operation does take a long time to complete - around 1 minute.
The customer has a reasonably large number of workflows - 46 - and a lot of issue statuses - 208. The errors are possibly related to the number of issue statuses and having to loop through them as part of determining whether or not an event is active.
